The 91st Season: 2004-2005

Our sixth season under our Music Director, David Gibson, will find us again performing some outstanding masterpieces of choral music.

Concerts are held at the Fairfield Halls, Croydon unless stated otherwise. Tickets for Fairfield Halls events are available from the box office, or via a member of the choir.

Planned highlights of the 2004 - 2005 season are:

Saturday 20th November 2004
The Croydon Philharmonic Choir bring you a semi-staged version of Handel's famous oratorio Messiah, under the direction of the choir's Music Director, David Gibson. Soloists: Jeni Bern - Soprano, Alison Kettlewell - Mezzo Soprano, Adrian Powter - Baritone, Sean Clayton - Tenor.

Saturday 18th December 2004
The Croydon Philharmonic Choir, will be presenting our Annual Family Carol Concert of both traditional and modern festive music.

Saturday 5th March 2005
The Croydon Philharmonic Choir plan to perform an evening of English music, to include Vaughan-William's Sea Symphony and Lark Ascending with Rutter's Gloria, under the direction of the choir's Music Director, David Gibson.

Saturday 14th May 2005
The Croydon Philharmonic Choir perform an evening of Gilbert and Sullivan, under the direction of Music Director, David Gibson. For further details click here...

Sunday 25th June 2005
The Croydon Philharmonic Choir join the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, with Portsmouth and Southampton choirs, to perform Britten's War Requiem, under the direction of David Gibson in The Guildhall Portsmouth. For members' recollections of the day click here...
