The 90th Season: 2003-2004

Our fifth season under our Music Director, David Gibson, found us again performing some outstanding masterpieces of choral music.

Saturday 8th November 2003
The Croydon Philharmonic Choir were once again invited to join the televised Festival of Remembrance from the Royal Albert Hall.

Saturday 15th November 2003
The Croydon Philharmonic Choir brought you a semi-staged version of Mendelssohn's famous oratorio Elijah, under the direction of the choir's Music Director, David Gibson.

Saturday 20th December 2003
The Croydon Philharmonic Choir, presented our Annual Family Carol Concert of both traditional and modern festive music.

Saturday 6th March 2004
The Croydon Philharmonic Choir performed a Russian Spectacular, including Prokofiev's Alexander Nevsky (with film), under the direction of the choir's Music Director, David Gibson.

Saturday 3rd April 2004
An invitation to join voices with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Nicholas Cleobury, in Fauré's beautiful Requiem.

The concert also included Mozart's Clarinet Concerto (played by Emma Johnson) and Schubert's 'Unfinished' Symphony.

Saturday 15th May 2004
The Croydon Philharmonic Choir performed Bizet's opera The Pearl Fishers, under the direction of Music Director, David Gibson.
